MGVM is an anagram for Million Gun Victims March. Our mission is to paint memorial portraits of forgotten and ignored, and give them away to loved ones as a tool to transform grief.


MGVM was conceived on April 13, 2013. The first portrait was painted April 14, 2013. The first portrait to be delivered was December 17, 2017. There are 248 portraits to date. 56 have been delivered successfully.


MGVM is headquartered in Baltimore, MD, United States. The majority of the works and deliveries have happened in the state of Maryland, but occasionally they have been delivered to other states.
